Our 3 and 4 year old environment is carefully planned with resources and opportunities based on children’s interest that support their next steps in learning. Children are able to make independent choices and develop skills through play, exploration and enquiry.
Learning both indoors and outdoors, children thrive in our pre-school due to the richness, variety and opportunities offered
Our pre-school children have access to two large playrooms, a classroom for small group work with our qualified teacher, a sensory room to support children’s emotional regulation and, their own dining room for meal times and cooking activities.
Children also have the added benefit of regular music sessions with our Early Years Teacher and very own ‘Music Man’, Giles Stamp. It has been shown that music reduces stress and anxiety, promoting well-being and aiding in healthy childhood development

Weekly trips to our award winning Forest School
Forest School embraces the outdoors as an inspirational learning environment.
Our nursery children have their own dedicated site as part of our 7 acre woodland site on the Quex Park Estate in Birchington. The children have their own wooden cabin, toilet/ changing facilities & outdoor shelters.
Impact of regular forest school sessions can develop healthier bodies & minds and significantly improves children’s confidence, social skills, language & communication.

Trips Around The Community
Our community trips are based on the children’s interest & what has been going on in the world around us.
Some firm favourites are: visits to Wildwood, The Spitfire Museum, garden centres, farm shops, beach trips and a care home.
Our community trips help to provide children with the essential knowledge that children need, to prepare them for their future success
